Had my first real test drive of the shiny new trolley today ... verdict: awesome

Around 1.5 miles empty (very up and down hill but mostly down) closely followed by a return trip of around 2 miles due to taking the slightly scenic route avoiding a particularly monster sized hill (but still very up and down hill, defo mostly up unfortunately :P) with around 125Kg on-board.  No probs at all, nothing fell off or broke although I probably do have significantly longer arms than I had this morning :P The trolley certainly is excellent tho.  OK, it was mainly on roads/paths and solid ground in general but considering the number of potholes, tree roots, general detritus and curbs to negotiate etc, not entirely *that* dissimilar to a Glasto stylee journey (without mud to cope with) anyway !

125Kg is somewhere around 18 cases of 15x440ml beers (I think) and 2 miles is slightly more than the North/South distance across the Glasto site (I think) so a reasonably representative test drive load and distance wise :P

a sack barrow with big inflatable tyres and lots of gaffa tape or bungies to hold your loads in place.

Not quite so crazy as it first seems. I needed to go and pick some stuff up as I was feeling way too tight to pay around £20/25 for delivery sometime as/when they fancied bringing it to me !  One of the few drawbacks of not owning or even being able to drive a car or similar and all that is having to make alternative arrangements when you want something and want it right now :P   Did get more than a few funny looks taking an empty trolley for a walk mind you ... and the b*ggers at B&Q even tried looking for a barcode on it in an attempt to charge me for it at the till :P  Just thought those who are likely to be using one at Glasto or similar would like to know from personal experience that it's more than up to the job

They have many uses, even when in the site:
