Malabu Stork Nightmares by Irvine Welsh is probably closest to what its like.
But they told us to play music, dvds and talk to him like we always would.
So I would go in and say 'awright bawbag I brought you some of that shite music you listen to, wake up or I'll leave clyde 1 on all day'
He also made me get him a fratellis t-shirt from T. It ranks as one of the top ten embarissing moments of my life.
i've also been embarrassed because of the fratellis. i was in the cellars once and couldn't figure out how to use the jukebox. i was pressing all the wrong buttons and ended up putting on three fratellis songs in a row. i didn't even want one of their songs. it was a total red neck.

It's nice that they're saying nice things about Rockness but tbh i don't want them 2 play. I enjoyed The Wombats and Razorlight were ok-ish before Johnny Borell got his shirt off, but they would be one Indie-Pop step too far 4 my taste.

my brother once put an entire Moby album on from start to finish on a pub jukebox.....we were like 'dude...what the f**k' he said 'but i like moby' and we were all 'sure man....but an entire album in the pub'
everytime another song came on you could see everyone looking at us

There are a hell of a lot worse albums he could have put on than Moby. Granted he's a creepy wee weirdo but he has some good tunes.

I know I was the same, just couldn't get into it. In hindsight I realised how it was so accurate in some wyas but wouldn't read it again.

it's not so much that it was moby....it was just...to put an entire album on, on a jukebox, in the pub. you just don't do that.
like mixing cider and beer, or granny's and porn.
it's not nice
