I was lucky enough to interview Chris from Editors yesterday for my radio show. Naturally I asked about Glastonbury and he said something along the lines of that he couldn't tell me what they'd be doing that weekend but he gave me a pretty suggestive wink so I'm pretty sure they'll be there. Really nice guy and didn't get annoyed with my really bad interviewing skills. He also sorted us out with free tickets for the gig which turned out to be pretty good so I'd probably go along and watch them again if they play

They are one of my favourites so I really hope they don't play Friday when I am watching U2!I saw them in Brighton on saturday night. I asked the girl on the sound desk if they were playing. she said she couldn't possibly say while nodding her head, which i took as a yes!
I also asked if she knew which day they would play, she said she wished she knew!
I'm hoping for friday night headlining the other stage like bloc party last year!

Maybe they could headline john peel though? Would suit them better i think.Would they be a big enough draw up against U2? I reckon they will in on the pyramid. Perhaps third on the Saturday.

Has anyone been to see them on this tour? My mate has just let me down and I'm debating if it's worth going on my own or just selling my tickets, as I may well get to see them at Glasto.
Thoughts apreciated?

I'd say it's worth it. I enjoyed myself despite not knowing that many of the songs

I also went to the Brighton gig - thought it started off a bit slow, but really picked up .... absolutely fantastic in the end. Dissapointed they seem to have dropped You Are Fading though

From Q Magazine, certainly implies they'll be there.
Q: You've got spots at Isle Of Wight and V over here. Any more?
Russell Leetch: We're doing loads but they're not ready for announcing. Obviously we're hoping to be at Glastonbury.

caught them in 2008 and thought they played an excellent set, much better than the fratellis that played after them. could imagine them headlining the JP tent, dont think they'd be a big enough draw for the other stage against U2,Muse or Stevie

I got the chance to interview Chris from the band a while ago - I'm pretty confident we'll see them at Glasto

When i listened to the new album at first i wasn't overly impressed but it has really grown on me the more i listen to it. Reckon it would work well in a sunset slot.
