I went for:

1. Metallica: totally unrealistic, I know

2. Audioslave: again, no chance but all the band would be there cos my last choice was...

3. Soundgarden

Any one of them would be incredible. Being a free gig surely there can't be any other big names?

Shadows Fall, Seether, Godsmack.

More likely to be Girls Aloud, Elvis and Margaret Thatcher, but worth a try!

I went with MUSE, Them Crooked Vultures and Beastie Boys.  I knew MUSE weren't free as well, I just wanted to make it so they atleast placed top, and could have been tempted out.  They are the number one influence on MUSE and I think they would happily drop any gig in the world to play with RATM if they could get away with it.

I wonder how they're planning on paying for the support band if it ends up being a really big band thats voted. It must be putting a lot to put on this show as it is!

I don't know why people are voting for massively unrealistic bands, all the email says is that the act that gets the most votes will be given the chance to play, e.g. Muse wins the vote for example, they say excuse me Muse, will you play for X amount, Muse say no chance, game over, thats all they can do, if a band isn't interested in playing they wont play, if a band wants too much cash to play, they wont play, its not a case of vote for them and they will come! So if you think that because loads of people voted for a certain act they must be going to play, think again.

Keeping it slightly more realistic I went for

Cypress Hill
Beastie Boys
Clawfinger

It depends on the bands position upon RAGE really, if there big fans and are available then they will more than likely say yes, even if they arn't getting payed at all.

I'd be interested in seeing who has actually offered their services to play, I mean Biffy said they would love to play. I bet they already have an idea of a lineup that they want due to bands offering the services.

Maybe they are only going to pay for one band, and that band is the band that totals the most votes, I'm assuming if the top act aren't available they will go down the list until someone is hit where they accept.

I don't think the bands playing have anything to lose through playing its not as if its going to effect sales of there own shows, as all tickets are allocated.

I went for

Against Me, Strike Anywhere, and Anit-Flag.

Thought I'd go for realistic support acts rather than massive bands that blatantly won't play.

All of these have the same political background as Rage, and are friends with Tom.

Fingers crossed, but after seeing who everyone else has voted for i'm not holding much hope.

And Cypress Hill???? Really, are you guys still 12? They play their song in the cockpit every Saturday and I have to leave the room. Is it for the novelty aspect?

Nah it's not, there's a campaign to get them to support on Facebook and Sonisphere linked to it so everyone thought it was a confimation. Hopefully nothing comes of it, there are far better names doing the rounds then Skindred...
