Dropkicks have played the main stage the last couple of times, not sure if they would put them in the Lock-Up. If they did maybe third or second from top?

I hate it when Lock-up bands play the main stage. The atmosphere is pretty dead and the sound quality is awful. I'd much prefer all the punk bands to play in a packed tent.

There are exceptions to this mind - NoFX and Less Than Jake can both give a good show on the main stage.

I love the Living End, but they were wasted on the main stage last year:( sound quality was awful, hardly anyone knew who they were and there atmosphere was dead. A couple of years previous they were sub-headliners on the Lock-Up and it was awesome.

Bad Religion would be awesome, after 30 years still put on a great show. SOIA haven't played for a few years.

I would also like Defeater, Motion City Soundtrack, Fake Problems and Tim Barry

think DKM can pull off the mainstage but generally agree - punk rock is best in the tent.

King Blues and Tom Gabel (or Against me! but just something different) would be cool.

Yeah could play NME. Or maybe high up the FR stage, if they keep the "heavy" day they had last year, with BMTH and The Blackout.

I can see Sum 41 and Bad Religion headlining. If there's a third day of Lock-up then I can see it being someone like All Time Low or Youmeatsix

Lockup always seems to be a similar bunch, with a bit of rotation year on year. Therefore I predict a lineup pretty much the same as 2008. The Hevy Festival have just announced a fair few bands that I would expect to play too. Dead Swans and Polar Bear Club I reckon are sure to be there at some point.

I have to say, for the two bands they could have picked as alternative "heavy" bands last year, those were terrible choices
