This late on is it safe to say that if a bigger act has not already been strongly rumoured or 'tbc', that they are not likely to play? I'm not that bothered about acts being there who I am already familiar with as I use festivals as an opportunity to discover new stuff. Im sure most of us do.
Would have liked Arcade fire and Paul Weller though

They'll be plenty of bigger acts still to be known about (tho of course, that's dependent on what a person means by bigger acts).

I think Weller is very unlikely too, but that's a merely a guess whereas AF is based on various bits of (hopefully good) info.

Paul Weller is one of the worst live acts i have ever seen, never been so bored at a festival before in my life. If he plays hope he clashes with the World Cup game.
Arcade Fire on the other hand are one of the best festival bands i've ever seen.

devasted that arcade fire aren't playing but I think there's gonna be a band that will be confirmed that will come from nowhere and will have us all buzzing again. radiohead or metallica or REM would slap us all in the face like a wet fish.

<says very quietly> was brilliant at V 06
but the best ive seen him do it was an acoustic, charity gig at the astoria. just him and craddock. amazing

I hope there's a few surprises to come, didn't Emily imply that people didn't have much of a clue as to the line-up (or does she always say that?
)
Personally I'm hoping for at least one of Bjork, Portishead, Pixies, MBV, TCV, PJ Harvey or something Jack White to get me excited. Fairly non-plussed at the rumours so far.

I loved his acoustic tour but I agree that he can be boring for a festival.
Can you speak up a bit there Tugger.... I cannot hear you properly....

I don't think he likes festivals from what I have read in the past but at the end of the day you gotta pay the bills
