Machine Head - won't be playing, they have said that the recent European tour is the last before going back into the studio, they have toured The Blackening to death.

BFMV - hard to say, headlining second stage at Download but they could do 5th from top or similar on Main at R/L.

A7X - again, hard to say, especially with the whole drummer situation, I'm sure they want to tour the new album but it totally depends.

Limp Bizkit - these seem likely, I'd personally love to see them, possibly 3rd from top on Main.

Slipknot - almost certainly won't be playing, Corey is currently busy with Stone Sour and I can't see Slipknot returning until late 2011/early 2012.

Don't care which metal bands they book - considering the clientel that Reading attracts nowadays, i'll be bunking off to Sonisphere/Download instead :P

nope.

The only way i'd ever watch Avenged is if it shut people up about cliched, fictional indie bullshit, sheep herded argument. It wore thin a year ago.

i'm not a massive fan of metal on the whole but would love deftones to play (again!) or limp bizkit would be good fun. i remember seeing them in 2000....awesome! i love wolfmother too....not sure if they count as metal but it would be good if they played which i imagine is extremely likely having had an album out recently. very good live band too.

Sigh, it's not fiction, it's fact. Dire Indie's a dying trend; get over it.

I hope Limp Bizkit are there, they were awesome at Download last year. Other possibilities are..

Stone Sour - Doing Euro fests
Korn
BFMV - Played 2nd from top in the tent in 08'
5FDP - Doing Euro fests, ealry main stage would be sweet

Maybe if A7X played they could complete a set without needing a crowd member to sing for them?
