Festivals are the only place I dont really get that hungover mst be the excitment and the fresh air. also every morning I have a bit of a ritual of drinking a bottle of water with alka sleter couple lucozade tablets for energy and then go on a mission to get fresh fruit.

Bad hangover on Saturday last year after a light night at Trash City, felt terrible all day in the baking sun then had to take a trip to the turdis which didn't help.

I tell you what .... A beer and a line really sort you out in the morning. Makes the hangover just vanish like magic

yeah, on Saturday last year after having no sleep on Friday night. there's only so far a few pints of Brothers and a can-do attitude can take you, which in my case was about 7pm.

Well, amazingly enough I have never been off my face due to anything at Glastonbury...
Am I very sick, can I be cured?

I normally don't suffer too much at Glasto. I usually wake up feeling crap, but once I'm up the magic Glasto fairy sorts me out and I feel fine. Except for last year when I spent most of Thursday in Bed (with a brief trip out for Jamaican Chicken and East 17) recovering from drinking all day and night Wednesday. Well I suppose if you are going to be too hungover to move, then Thursday is the best day to do it.
The moral of this story is don't drink ALL the spirits you bring on the first day!

Normally I don't get them until it comes to the morning of leaving the festival although I felt utterly dreadful at Bestival on the Sunday in 2008 and spent most of the day lay prone, it wasn't a total waste as I was prone in the Comedy Tent with beer.
It's all about pacing yourself, I find that you can drink (or at least I can) as much beer (or wine) as you like but once you start on the quintuple measures of spirits it's game over.

I don't get them because I crack open the voddy and spliff the moment I wake up...

Best cure for hangovers is a load of water and painkillers followed by a couple of cans of beer. Sorts you right out.
Glastonbury is about the only time of year I don't feel guilty for having beer for breakfast.

yea its a given that I will feel pretty damn crap at festivals, no sleep/bad sleep (sleep for an hour waking up), too much drink and not eating properly all takes its toll on me!

Monday morning at Glastonbury every year, and particularly last, is a terrible hangover for me. The combination of five days with very little sleep, epic booze consumption, the huhe misery of knowing its all over for another year, allied to the combinded pressures of having to take down and pack away an often wet tent, and a lenghty wait in the car parks to follow.
