I simply ask, why not? With enough hits under the belt and multi million selling albums of course they could. With a new album on the way out would only add to the amount of material they have to play.
They've had a number 1 album which i dont think any of the 3 "headliners" have had. A number 1 and number 3 single.
I dont think they would headline, but just proves it not all about album sales as some think. If it was based on sales, these would have the strongest case to headline.

That's the single, the album peaked at number 2. Their next album will go in at number 1 though fo sho'.

Limp Bizkit had a number 1 album sure, but that was a long time ago now and there's no doubt they're not as popular as they were back then. Still command a 4th / 3rd slot on the mainstage, but won't be going any higher until they've proved they can still sell albums - which needs to be done with the new album which won't be out in time.

Would be pretty rad to see them, everyone I've spoke to says they killed Download and Soni people say similiar things. Alot of people regard their 2000 Reading performance pretty highly too...

Rage was all about the reunion which is the exception to the rule, I'm not sure Aerosmith every would headline Reading and Leeds.
