Surely they are gonna be there, seen them in 08 and thought they were fantastic!

Saw them in Reading about a week ago, where they were brilliant, and someone asked if they were doing Glastonbury. Gareth just replied "I'll probably go, yeh" and mentioned something about tickets. Not sure if it was a deliberate swerve, teasing or they just misheard the question tbh.

I hope they are there!
They played in Aberdeen a couple of weeks ago but i was doing the boring romantic thing and went home to see my boyfriend. ( i am at uni he lives in my hometown) It was a hard choice!
Saw them a couple of times in 08 they are awesome!

I love them too, but can certainly understand why people don't. They are a marmite band, if ever there was one

Good little band. Nothing more nothing less really.
They were alright in 08. Nothing majorly spectacular.

Yeh YOU! ME! DANCING! is a brilliant song and the best one on that album.
Didn't really enjoy their second album that much as it seemed a bit rushed.

I asked Gareth when I saw him at the bar before their Thekla gig a couple of weeks ago. He didn't seem to keen to do it, mentioned there was a chance, but said they'd done it a couple of times already and preferred not to do the standard festival run year after year. I'm aware they didn't play last year but they did two slots in 08 and one in 07. Lame.

Not really lame.
Maybe they just don't want to be seen as another festival band?

Living in Cardiff I've been lucky enough to see them loads over the last few years. They've become one of the best live bands about in my opinion and the new stuff, despite not being as immediate as the first two albums, is truly incredible (probably my album of the year at the moment although the new Liars one is challenging it). Would really love them to play but it won't be a complete disaster if they don't as I'm planning to see them twice in May

One of the best bands to come from the last decade. Three phenomenal albums that have sadly been overlooked.

I don't think it was an album proper though - just what they released for a tour

It's probably because they're all "POWERFULLY INDIE" and will play DIY things like ATP or Indietracks
