Hiya all,
Just a quick query, this'll be the first time im at V festival camping (woohoo!) and ive heard about this place called the Secret Garden. I know you dont get alot free or not alot more stuff; but with me, free is free!
Im on virgin media at home and i was wondering do you have to apply for these wristbands prior to going or do they give you the option to, or does the person who brought my V ticket have to register for them? Thankyou in advance!

Not sure how Virgin Media works but my friend is on Virgin Mobile and was sent a text last year with a code and then she had to queue to get the freebies and wristband. It was a pretty long queue as I remember though- about half to three quarters of an hour and I don't know if I could be bothered if it was me. I think she got a couple of free drinks and I think some free food and maybe access to a better loo! She wasn't camping so had to queue once the music had started (hence why I don't think I'd bother) but maybe ok if you can access it earlier before the queues start!

Beerqueen, on Mar 11 2010, 09:28 PM, said:In Chelmsford, it was crap, well apart from the clean toilets and no q's. However you had to queue up for a chance to win entry by spinning a record player and having the needle stop on the free entry section (about 2 cms in width). Virtually impossible but I was lucky enough to win. However took about 30 mins to q to get the chance to do it.Not sure how Virgin Media works but my friend is on Virgin Mobile and was sent a text last year with a code and then she had to queue to get the freebies and wristband. I've been in in previous years, it was rubbish. Nothing to do and hardly anyone about.
Just stick to the main arena.
The secret garden is just to get people to sign up to Virgin broadband / tv etc before they go so they can feel like a vip!

Virgin Mobile sent us the VIP garden tickets last year. All you get is the chance to pay at the bar with actual cash (no tokens), clean toilets and some crappy Virgin branded inflatables. If you get any, then sell them on Ebay. Some people were asking (and getting £70-£100) last year. Real mug punters buying them.
