Ok so although not fully confirmed it looks like Reading and Leeds have Arcade Fire headlining while as we all know by now Muse will headline Glasto.

So inspired by another topic I just wondered how many people would swap headliners given the choice?

This question is also in the glastonbury forum so go over there to check out what them lot think.

(just to be clear, its never going to happen, just curious as to what people going to each festival think)

I feel disloyal to Arcade Fire as I have seen them 5 times (twice at R/L) and really think they are a brilliant band but I would definitely prefer Muse as a Reading Headliner.

Academic though cos it ain't gonna happen!

I want Arcade Fire there, but not headlining. And anyway Muse over them anyway.

I'd swap Muse for MCR or Blink any day. But not for AF.

No because I'm going to see Muse the weekend after Leeds, and for that reason I don't want to see muse at the festival.

Any other year id have said yes swap them. But the main reason they arnt playing r and l is cos they have there own shows. Be it benefitial for FR or Muse themselves.

No, I don't like either. But at least with AF you don't get all this crap Muse fans spout about them being the best live act in the world - I've seen them, they're really not.

The best live band in the world versus some boring indie band that are no way big enough to headline, hell yes, but they won't be playing this year.

who the f**k are Arcade Fire? why are they headlining and what have they done since they last played?

This whole thing just seems desperate, they seem to have failed big time so are just booking bands which simply ain't big enough to headline
