Pendulum and The Cribs were deffos anyway, both main stage I reckon,

I saw them support Placebo at the O2, so it's not like you can say the sound was bad, I could hear everything clearly. They just sound like a poor attempt the revive the fantastic 70s/80s punk scene.
And NME band = band NME seem to promote endlessly because they have a certain gimic about them.
This is all my opinion from the evidence I have seen and heard. I'm not saying it's fact.
Fair enough, I wouldn't say they are suited to arenas though.

I've never seen Pendulum live, admittedly people have said they are shit... but I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt cause I enjoy some of their stuff.
And well I don't like bands such as The Cribs and The Sunshine Underground. So really... screw you.

I know they're not everyone's cup of tea but they are far from being 'bad' live.

God I hate that MC!
and I just can't enjoy them live =/ (and yes I have seen them)
I've felt let down since they went live to be honest & the 2 tracks I've heard so far from the new album (granted only 2) aren't particularly inspiring in my opinion.
BUT they are definitely a great booking for the festival as they are stupidly popular.

Happy about Sunshine, saw them a couple of weeks ago and they were on form, much better since the first time I saw them and they were dire. New albums sounding well as well but its a shame that they don't seam to play Borders any more which imo is their best track. Mid NME I reckon
Will be watching The Cribs as well. Only 1 of 2 bands I've seen into double figures but haven't even bothered since they released the latest album. Marrs not needed whatsoever and the production has faltered big time away from the first three, but since its at a festival I cant see why I won't be they're still a pretty good band. 4th on Main or 3rd at a push I'd say.
Not bothered about Pendulum, saw them last time they were there and they didn't do anything for me. After 15/20 minutes you just want it end and the set is extremly repetitive in my eyes. Prob 3rd on main sadly.

love the cribs, like the others aswell. What's with every1 hating the cribs just because there an indie band i'm guessing and its not cool to like indie bands any more.

I'm a big fan of Pendulum, so it's nice to see them rumored, obvs they are going to play.
Cribs are a great live band who really get the crowd going, not to fond of their new album but it's nice to see them playing.
