I know a lot of us (me included) are gutted that Faithless are playing T and not Rockers but they are playing in Edinburgh @ The Corn Exchange on May 25th. Only thing is its a Tuesday!!!
There is a fan club pre-sale but otherwise tickets are on sale 9am Friday!

Dunno like - saw them in 2005 and think it was sold out then ... but that was at the SECC - dont think it sold out straight away.... but concerts are different now - alot of folk would go to the opening of an envelope just to be there

I totally agree they are amazing live but no band is worth that at the moment. Think about what you get for your money - £35 quid for (at best) 1 hour 45 of Faithless compared to say at the end of this month at Pressure at the Arches, one of the best clubs in the world, 6 hours of Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke amongst others for £21. I'm not comparing acts, just value for money and £35 just seems like a ripoff.

To make the folk from Galsgow travel .... for a change.
Reckon they might announce more dates though as there are gaps in the tour.....
more importantly - why is it NEVER aberdeen ... prodigy (for example) went to Dundee, RockNess, Glasgow and Edinburgh last year .....

It's always an either/or with most bands, I can't recall many bands who've played both cities on the same tour. I've always found it a bit weird as it's not like each city doesn't have enough people to fill a venue. I've always thought it's been down to DF promoting most big events in both cities and them thinking that the Glasgow crowd will travel through there to see someone and the Edinburgh crowd will travel through here meaning they can leave less time between bringing the act back to Scotland. Who knows?

True but when Faithless Sound System (the watered down faithless) played last year tickets were in the region of £20
A whole live band would cost alot more to put on plus there are going to be more production costs - there are only 3 people in faithless so they require people to play instruments, backing singersm etc etc ... Im sure the costs are all relatives.... when quite often a DJ night is just someone standing behind some decks mixing .... (Dont get me wrong I LOVE DJ nights) just trying to put it into comparison
