What are your experiences with the shuttle bus?
I live close to Chelmsford but we're better off for practical reasons getting there via. the shuttle bus.

Is the shuttle bus a good idea for a large group of people to go together?
What time would be good to get the shuttle bus in order to get to the campsite at a good time so as to get a good spot?

how many people you talking?

8 of us were fine year before last got shuttle around 10.30 i think was a little queue had to wait for next bus but they roll over quickly i think. last year the gates opened at 10.30 according to someone in another post and i was there for then so i reckon get to the shuttle at 10 maybe?

however last year we used the shuttle to get back into town and they're now charging a ridiculous price of £5 per person however this means you can use the bus however you like for the rest of the weekend. so it's not too bad for there on friday and back on monday but just for a trip to town was hard to handover the money!

Well, a lot of people from my Sixth Form are going and we're planning to all try and camp near each other, thinking that the shuttle bus might be the best way to ensure that we are all together.
