Hello everyone

We went to V in 2008 and didnt get there on the Friday until late afternoon/early evening.

By this time the red campsite was absolutly packed and we had to camp miles from everything

This year I wanted to get in the best part of the red campsite (where the shops and carling bar is etc)

So does anyone know what the best time is to arrive so this can happen ?????????

It says the campsite opens at 12 but would there be a big queue to get in already at that time ?

If anyone could help and let me know what time u got there and how packed it was that would be great

We got their quite early last year and im sure it opened way before 12 closer to 10 i think.....i think aim for 10 and it will be good ....reckon that's what i'll do

We arrived at the red campsite at 10 am,there was a que but everyone was getting pissed so it was great, they let us in at 10.30 and then it was Beer o Clock
great time to arrive so you can pitch then chill

well there you go! thanks for helping me out with the info.

They opened wuite early and yes every was just drinkign all of the glass bottle they had haha it's never that basd waiting to get in cus everyone is happy then....wait till you wana get out!

We done an all night er on sunday and drove home at dawn was best idea yet! was out of there by 7!

we left monday at 11am,bad times, took us three hours to get out and it was so hot, three day hangover stuck in a hot car.amgoing to waituntil the last minute this time, no rush to get home to do your weekend washing,

hey this is my fifth year at v last year we got in at ten and were all set up by eleven,but the last few years it was nearer 12 but aim for 10 like everyone says as the atmosphere is amazing x
i always wake up really early on the monday and pack up all our things while my boyf is still asleep we leave about 8 and miss all the traffic,best idea ever x
