Anybody going to this?

I'm hoping to make the trip over from London.....i'd give my left nut to see Eminem live and there are lots of bands I like such as Muse, Kasabian, Jay-Z, Stereophonics, Arcade Fire, Vampire Weekend.

Eh there is no shuttle buses to Oxegen. There are airport buses that can either drop you into Dublin where u can get busses to Oxegen. Also The cheapest way to get to Naas(where Oxegen is held) You get the dublin coach which will being u from Dublin Airport to Naas for €10 and then you can get the free bus to Oxegen from there which is free. www.dublincoach.ie is the website for the bus .

yeah the buses are just lined up ready to take people it cost about 20 euros return and you can buy the tickets from a booth right next to the buses so dont worry about booking a ticket. And the buses that run from the airport to dublin run all day and night so again dont worry about tickets

Yea you dont need to pre book tickets for the bus at the airport. When you come out of the arrivals door there will be loads of busses and the dublincoach is a big Green one. You get the ticket when getting on the bus. You will be in Naas in about and hour depending on traffic then hop on the shuttle bus to Punchestown. The dublincoach runs 16 times a day

Its full of 17-19 year old drunken idiots who have no idea how to handle their drink, therefore ruining everyone else's buzz who are unfortunate enough to camp around them.

Add to that the scumbags and knackers who flock to it every year in their thousands due to the usual popular line-up. These f**kers seriously dampen proceedings, and with Eminem and Jay-Z there this year, the scum will truly be out in force.

Finally who can forget the leary loud country boys who drink close to a slab every night and then go looking for a fight off said scumbags/knackers above. Or the odd unfortunate 'Jackeen' for the crime of being from Dublin.

All in all a wonderful weekend of looking over your shoulder, being on edge or ill at ease in fear of something kicking off at any given moment. Or there was the 2008 scenario, where scummy f**ks started setting tents alight with people still in them. That was the last year for me.

Seriously don't bother your arse, go to Electric Picnic to experience a proper, amazing festival.

Im working the bar this year, purely for the money. Love some of the acts but from the videos on youtube and the reviews it looks disgusting. Im just glad its running every year to keep the scumbags away from electric picnic. Why someone would find it funny to set peoples tent on fire is beyond me...
