i'm new to the festival experience and i'm wondering if you get a sheet which tells you when each act is on and what times and where they are peforming etc..?

and any suggestions on how to carry stuff easier to the camp site which isn't too big on the bus and that?

cheers  :P

You can buy little booklets that go around your neck that have band times and similar things on them.

Carrying stuff, I'd say a sledge or something, thats what folk usually use. Ensure the rope your pulling it with won't break though! My fatal error of last years titp.

Luckily the Rockness campsite isn't too big so it's not a huge hassle trying to carry your stuff, unless you're planning on bringing a ridiculous ammount of booze. :P

The biggest thing to remember is to not bring loads and loads of crap that you won't use.

But always take more alcohol than you need otherwise you'll wake up on the Saturday morning with a stinking hangover and no booze left. :P

Unless of course your driving back on Monday, so instead of booze, have some solpadeine available.  No doubt that police with be checking that drivers are not over the limit on Monday.

Edit: sorry I realised you were talking about Sat morning and not Sunday.

Can really relate to both of these! Maybe not as early as the Saturday, but definately the Sunday. Never underestimate scottish kidneys.

i usually take a wee wheely suitcase thingy for my booze, and everyhting else in my rucksack. tried carrying the booze in my rucksack and it's far too heavy.

going to buy something like this to carry my booze for glasto. probably just get a granny trolley with half decent wheels for rockness.

Just as well, my arms get tired enough carrying my own booze. :P
