Ive set up a thread on the group forum for the common camp if you want to take it over there. Ive done up a map with a good spot on it aswell, about three quarters up the yellow campsite say (Sure check out the map in the thread an you'll see for yourself). The spot can change aslong as it suits everybody, I just think the one I have marked will be the easiest for everyone involved, close enough to the venue and cant be missed.
No idea who had the flag last year... weesteve maybe? Havent a clue.
I'll be arriving around 3 - 4 pm (driving from dublin cant physically make it any earlier
)
Im sure a flag can be arranged easy enough, if not then a landmark.

Yeah had a look at that spot, only issue is that it's in the shade and that bit of land ended up being a swamp last year.
Would prefer further up the hill. Thoughts? Ideally we could camp in Purple zone. Grr.
I'll maybe buy a bright pink gazebo or something, and spray paint it. That would be a lovely landmark
Right i'll get on this now.

Was kinda hoping we'd get an up-to-date site map on the official website, showing where front row camping is, just to verify if it's taking up the whole of the old Purple campsite or not.

Thomas' ticket arrived today with a mini map. It just says purple camping site. Not front row camping. Could be something to bring up with Jim. I'll try and post a picture.

Is it the same as this map?

Further up the hill is fine, wherever keeps everyone happy, the map can be rejigged and a new spot put on it.
I reckon a pink gazebo would stand out enough on its own
spray paint might just spoil its loveliness

The map he got was almost identical except the section I have marked with a small red cross doesn't have anything in it, it's just green. Indicating that the VIP area will be alot smaller.
Window Licker...how about the area I have marked with a black cross?
Map 2010
We can work out a spot nearer the time. I'll just try and round up some commoners just now

Thats fine by me, I remember that spot being quite a dip thou, it got swamped last year. Remember the sludge pit at the junction between purple, yellow and venue entrance. We'll be camped right beside that if the rain shows up

Yeah I meant up the hill a bit, before you come round and down the path.
Fingers crossed we don't even have to set up there and there will be some space in the purple campsite.

If you combined the two camps, we could have a fence through the middle of the efest camp which is an interesting prospect.

Lets just hope there is some kind of normal Purple camping and then us efestivalers can have one big, super camp!
none of this 'them and us' chuffage!

Thats the exact spot I was talking about before, just before you come down and around the path, that should do nicely I'd say.

I have a feeling that the whole of Purple is gona be reserved for front-row campers, don't know how exactly its gona work, maybe different wrist bands to get in and put your tent up on friday. While the rest of us will have to stop in yellow.
Unless the purple is split half and half, for front row and non front row, just dont see how this is actually gona happen though. Its either one tier or two tier you cant make both work.
Anyway its all a load of bollocks, it should just be first come first served like anything else in life, this idea of front-row is feckin ridiculous.

We got them too. Has anyone tried that pouch vodka stuff in Asda? I can't remember what it's name is, but if you can't be bothered decanting all your vodka into plastic bottles then you can get the pouchs.
Think they are about a fiver each, you don't get much out of it, but it's refillable.
