Are we all assuming they are playing? and if so where? the fake posters that are doing the rounds are guessing either headlining NME or 3rd/4th Mainstage. Personally I would have them before Arcade Fire or NME at the same time as Blink, their music would be soo much better in the dark.
Also, would there be any chance of a Julian Plenti solo set?

I think we could have an awesome alternative day on the Main Stage along the lines of..
Arcade Fire
Interpol
Manic Street Preachers
Sonic Youth
The Cribs
Mumford and Sons (dont like them but their album has done really well)
etc.

Your placing is all wrong IMO.
Arcade Fire
Manic Street Preachers
Interpol
Sonic Youth
SonicYouth could possibly even play above Interpol now... would depend on what they demanded i guess. On apersonal level I'd have Manics above AF.
But that would be a great day.
And also i really want all of the bands you just mention to play... except The Cribs not too fond.. and dont want AF toheadline but still woudllike them to play.

Would love a day actually good indie. AF, Interpol, The Cribs, Editors, Futureheads, Mumford.
Any chance of Hot Hot Heat? They've got a new album on the way and are always very good live.

Hopefully they will play but I'd say they'd fit in 3rd top Main Stage.

I'd rather have them headlining the tent. Interpol outside just isn't as good.

Agreed. Seeing them would be amazing, but if I'm being greedy I'd love them to headline the tent.
I think their music would be lost outside in the light.

It's very atmospheric. I saw them when they played the mainstage a couple of years ago and as good a performance as it was, they are definitely suited to indoor gigs.

I've got to agree that they lose something on the big stage, they'd be much better in the tent.

i'd be happy if they headlined the nme stage at the same time as MCR!

Nah, with a younger audience more of them will know Interol (going by the massive crowd for them in 2007 and the small crowd for the Manics in 2008).
Also, Sonic Youth are only popular with the alternative rock crowd and are not exactly a mainstream favourite.
