Never seen a sniffer dog before but I suppose they could be a bit more cautious this year but I doubt it. You will likely get searched so stashing is a definite requirement. In a certain respect, Rockness knows what goes on, can't actually stop it so its down to your sensibility. If your a complete knob on drugs and also deal them quite openly your probably going to get horsed out or arrested, probably both.
And the money question? Couple hundred quid usually does the job depending on how much drink cargo you have and how much you munch like a trooper whilst wrecked. I for one have a serious problem with the toasties at Rockness. I simply can't get enough of them, they are amazing.
Plus Jim King reads these forums so you might put ideas into his head.

from my experience at rockness the 5-0 are quite laid back, i walked past them with a fat one hangin out my mouth and they didn't bat an eyelid. On the flipside if you are clearly out yer nut you make yourself an easy target and i met someone who had his pills confiscated last year but wasn't arrested.
to answer your other question, well that depends on what your spending money on. I think £50 a day for food and drink is plenty, but only after half a case of stella for breakfast!

well in that case, they will all know what a disagreeable wee knob you are, do you ever answer anyones questions or do you just come on here to annoy people with your "actually i disagree" statements?

No offence mate, but honestly, how the fu*k do you know? He may well spot on one of these forums (and theres nearly twenty!) how people may say they intend to drugs into the festival and then get his security to look for these ways time the festival arrives. There is some nuggets on efestivals that blurt that shit out and frankly they deserve to get caught.

1. security and police are not stupid, they know all the tricks.
2. they don't have the man power or resources do enforce stringent searches etc so even by seeing our methods they won't be able to do much about it.
Just logical
In all my festivals I have never been properly searched, they always just touch the outside of my bag etc and I can't see many festivals investing in literally hundreds of more staff so they can search everybody thoroughly.
I even have a mate who is a cop and worked at Rockness last year, even he admitted there is f*ck all they can do even if they wanted to
