Nah that's over-rated sleep outside instead...... I say that now but when it starts pissing it down I'll be first to be running to find my tent hahaha

Go back to camp, have another can, smoke bong, get in bed, make love to the Mrs while "accidently" leaving the light on, see how many randoms are watching the shadow puppet show on yr tent wall.

There is a fair ground you can go on-but pretty much nothing is going on after the bands/DJ's stop. Very similar to Leeds and Creamfields. You have to make your own entertainment back at the campsite

Well after the disco last year I was a little sick (classy I know) then I made it back to the tnet, opened up a bottle of Clique Vauve (sneaked inside sleeping bag), listened to, played and sang along to music, then we had a game of hide and seek, then we sat down and laughed and sang some more, me and the mister had some tent action and then we went and lit a chinmese lantern, then it was somehow morning and then we started another day, what else should there be to do

That rowntree's bit was ace!A friend and myself were silently bopping along to some dance tune with Dizzee Rascal doing his amazing set in the background. My friend goes upto the DJ (Who is facing the stage) pulls one earphone away from his ear and shouts............"GOT ANY DIZZEE RASCAL????"

:P I need to find this! Cant believe ive never seen it  :P

I think its going to happen. The reason they couldnt do it last year was they signed some agreeement with a company allowing them to have Weston Park on thursday nights throughout summer for a event of some kind cant remember what it was. When weston wanted to do the thursday opening the company kicked off and they couldnt find a way out of the contract. Ive been told they are doing it this year and it also says on the website they are assesing the situation and if it does happen tickets will be on sale a few weeks before.
Do you need to buy a separate ticket if you want to stay on thursday night too, or is it just an extra day included in the ticket we've already bought?! It's already almost £200, surely they can't charge any more? I hope this happens anyway, an extra day would be great  :P

Think it was extra £10 when they did it in 2008. Would rather spend a tenner on beer as there was nothing happening on the thursday.

Yeh was £10 i think. Personaly the thursday in 08 is probably the best time i have ever had at v festival! No sitting in traffic q's, get a great camping spot, extra day to spend with your mates getting drunk and catching up. And everything was open apart from the live music. There was the indie disco, fair, bars, shops etc.

Go back to your tent and get paraletic.

Always works a treat, especially when you're with your mates.
