In my opinion it would pay off, but the crowd that would go to see them would be one of the smallest since Razorlight. Remember they did play under chilli's last, hence a rather large crowd waiting for them.

All depends who they're up against.

If it was against someone like Paramore, Pendulum and other suggested for NME, Imo I think it would be just as small as Razorlight!

Perhaps, infact if against any of the Radio 1 playlist darlings I think they'd get a smaller crowd.

Something a bit like this...?

I hope the mainstage is nothing like that as I would only be watching AF, Cribs and Klaxons out of that lot. The mainstage usually has one 'heavy day', guessing that would be the Blink day, then one day with a mixture of rock and 'indie' bands and then one day more 'indie based'. Which of those AF will headline will depend on the third headliner. I'm hoping Gorillaz will do the 'mixture' day and AF the 'indie' day

Blink, Arcade Fire and Gorillaz would be great headliners in my opinion.

If that's the lineup then looks like I'll be at Sonisphere this year, there's not enough variety in there for me.

When are we expecting this announcement to be roughly? I know tickets go on sale on the 29th, are we expecting to know much before then?

Usually happens on the same day gradually. Which is kind of annoying but I suppose is kinda exciting at the same time.
