The one time we saw Babyshambles Mr Doherty fell over and put his head through the drum kit - which was quite entertaining!!!!

Gor my tickets too - just can't bring myself to miss Bob.
But would also be grateful for any info / tips about this festival. I can't get there until Sat so info about traffic / parking or the set up generally would be much appreciated.

This event organised by Vince Power has no VIP area, so everyone has the same experience, there's no registration, no sponsorship, and no branding.
What crap! I ran the VIP bar last year! (Of which there were 2!) and a VIP massive back stage area with a sit down dinner in a posh onsite restaurant. The place was heaving with wannabees as the year before was a free bar. This year will be no different

I hate that joke.
My friend got an interactive Elmo for Christmas (......), which was funny at the time, but after we'd heard him tell the "Elmo just flew in from Sesame Street... and boy are his arms tirrrrred!!!!" joke for the 3rd time, I wanted to remove his head...

Hop Farm website says there will be high security there with sniffer dogs and all. Are they doing this to sell a lot of beer? Have no fun while enjoying your hippie fest. Anyway to get around dogs?

My first ever hop farm this year, completely impulsive and last minute, but as soon as i got wind of dylan and van in the same place, my senses went haywire. Already doing glasto the week before too, what a week of legends and drunken haze june/july will be!!!
So whose beein before? What can we expect, needless to say i think i'm more excited than I am for glasto, any inside scoops for the undercard before van morrison? If they could match someone like davies before dylan this could quickly become my number 1 festy!!!
Go!....

Say he had been a clean-living nice-boy, ya think people would care? No.
And to add to this, "being critically acclaimed, selling records and winning awards" means absolute sweet f.a. to me as far as talent is concerned. There are so many artists out there who deserve the attention that junkie pr**k gets on a daily basis, but because they're not knee deep in scandal, they'll never get it.

Anyone know any rumours or have any guesses on who might be playing on Friday more than Van Morrison? I'm thinking about buying a Saturday ticket, but I don't want to regret it later if they announce any awesome bands to play on Friday...
Also I'm wondering if there's anyone else who's going to be there alone? Or some people who feels like they'd enjoy the company of a Mumford & Sons-loving 18 year old girl from Sweden?
Always more fun to have someone to talk to during concerts, and even more importantly, to drink beer with

I have worked there with the WBC so don't know what its like to enter as a ticket holder but its a normal arena Event so you cant wander about like a person can at Glastonbury so each time you enter from the camp site you may or may not get searched as you enter the arena { which may have been imposed on them by the local authorities }

I thought smoke was decriminalized in England and possession of small quantities was legal. Yes or No?

see http://www.urban75.c...s/cannabis.html
On 29th January 2004, cannabis had been reclassified from a Class B to a Class C drug in the UK, but as of Jan 26th 2009, the meddling politicians reclassified it back to Class B. And they wonder why people get confused!
Here's a summary of what reclassification means:
NOW: CLASS B CANNABIS
Illegal.
If you are under 18, you will be arrested and given a formal warning.
Up to 5 years in jail for possession
Up to 14 years in jail for supplying or dealing
Before: CLASS C CANNABIS
It's still illegal
If you are under 18, you will be arrested and given a formal warning
Up to 2 years in jail for possession
Up to 14 years in jail for supplying or dealing
Cannabis is still illegal and the maximum penalty for possession is five years in jail.
