blackg1000, on Mar 7 2010, 12:55 AM, said:Exactly, and if it's not a good atmosphere he just blames the sound techs (and sometimes punches themNo he's not. Stone Roses were alright for one album and were such w*nkers to each other they could barely scrape together a second album and when they did, the biggest anti-climax in british music.
If you haven't seen him, I'm afraid your going to be pretty dissapointed. He is truly awful live. Can't wait to see who else is on when he plays.
)
Waste of a slot, but hey enjoy it.. will be at Leftfield

Iain333, on Mar 7 2010, 12:59 AM, said:Ok, that is not true at all. There were reasons stopping them releasing a second album and it had nothing to do with personal relationships. Look it up. Infact the relationship between them all was fine and it was only after the second album was released that relationships started to fray. Again there was reasons for that.
At least do some homework before posting what you percieve to be 'facts', which infact have no truth in them what so ever
Aye, whatever. Fact is, second coming was shite, ian brown is a tosser, he destroys stone roses songs more now than he did before, his own songs are bollocks and he just acts like a total knob when hes on stage. Typical mouth breathing, knuckledragger.

In your opinion. There is enough people to sell-out the MEN that disagree with a lot of what you said there.

See above.
What I was trying to say it is unfair to put everyone who likes him under a certain bracket. Theres artists playing at Rockness that i can't stand, but I can accept that without categorizing 'em.

It's a general consensus that he can't sing live anymore, if you're willing to ignore that and enjoy it anyway thats fine but I would feel cheated.

Cheers, I would be joining you there if they clashed with anyone else.

I know what you mean, but I suppose some would argue his on-stage presence and charisma make up for it. It's hard to beat the atmosphere that comes hand in hand with his live shows though.

Nah I've got it sussed don't worry. I'll see Ian in a few months and then again on his next tour UK tour which I'm assuming will be a good wee bit away. And I'll catch Leftfield in Glasgow through the winter at somepoint - it'll happen

From a neutral point of view I never noticed it, he just seemed like a grumpy old man but I suppose for a big fan he's still be good.
