Actually rex, massive roses fan, and in some respects think his certain solo songs have surpassed them, lyrically at least.

But he is a bit of a knobend and the 2 times I saw him he was alright, not wonderful, not great, but allright. Admit, that was before he started playing roses songs to play to the dwindling crowds.

(and before anyone starts I don't buy the argument that he only did it because squire was doing it, take the higher ground man, your supposed to be better than that,)

Can't wait to see the Monkey man again. Seen him when he was in the roses and as a solo artist and his vocals were very sketchy, but the man does have presence there's no denying that.
Saying that tho one of my m8's seen him in Edinburgh in December and she was blown away, he's now living a cleaner life and it shows in his singing. He also had rave reviews in the papers about the gig too so bring it on Mr Brown!
