But I don't know where they'd play, they're too big for a tent (judging by the speed the tour sold out), but I reckon they wouldn't really be suited for the mainstage.

I too failed miserably. Whilst they wouldn't suit the mainstage in my opinion, I don't think that'd stop FR booking them on the mainstage if they had the chance. And to be fair, I'd rather see them on the mainstage than not at all, and judging from how quickly the tour sold out, there's no chance they'd be able to do anything but headline the tent I reckon.

I'd love to see them do a TCV style surprise appearance!

Your NME's are way to strong. I would say 8 of the 9 could all headline the NME. (only empire of the sun couldn't IMO)
Hint: Paramore are in the wrong slot
, and under the wrong band....

Put them up against Blink 182 on the mainstage and I reckon it could work. I don't think it's very likely though.

I just can't come to terms with the fact that the likely headliners this year are Blink-182, Arcade Fire....and My Chemical Romance. I mean...I just...it's like some sort of cruel joke. I really hope the NME tent or lock-up/dance has some good headliners to compensate.

I'd rather die than see MCR finish the festival on the Sunday. What makes it worse is Pigeon Detectives on the second stage, I mean, come on...?
