I was just looking at the most listened to artists on Last FM. Take a look at last years headliners compared to this years proposed ones...

No...read the post. Look at this years proposed headliners. Then look at last years. Notice the difference?

HIs point is, by your logic, it'd be a ok for Lady Gaga, Coldplay and Black Eyed Peas to headline...

Arcade Fire and Blink are above RATM, who I didn't hear anyone complaining about in 2008...

Yeah last years are all higher up than the proposed ones this year OMG! that must mean than no one knows who Blink-182, Arcade fire or MCR are.

yeah blink and arcde fire are above RATM, aerosmith, kasabian. all of whom are headlining major festivals this year.

and blink are also ahead of AC/DC. so that is blink ahead of all the download headliners.

I just noticed all last years headlines in the top 16.

Didn't look at other festivals
