luckily i managed to catch them play at heaven a few months back at their own gig and it was brilliant! the venue name was extremely apt for the occasion!
This was such an amazing gig! Leeds however was a bit shit 'cause Hull's tuner was broken haha, and it was all METN.
We Are Scientists have a new song, the video for which is hilarious. Can see them playing, really talented and really funny guys.

I know I keep coming out with random bands, butt.... Is there any chance of Travis (low down on main stage)... Or Fran Healy with Andy Dunlop doing the acoustic stuff (3rd/4th on NME stage)
Edit - dont know why i put 2nd on main :/

None whatsoever. Travis aren't a big band anymore anyway, they struggle to fill 1000 capacity venues now.
Would love The Thrills and The Hives to play whoever put them down, Thrills to headline FR stage would especially be great.

I love The Thrills and The Hives, both are high on my list of bands to see. That said I'm pretty sure The Thrills have split up

Recently? They released Teenager about 3 years ago and they were then dropped by the label. None of their websites have been updated in a year and wiki lists them as being on hiatus. I hope they are still going but it doesn't look positive.
