OK i know they have been taken of the rumor list but i remember last year, Radiohead were on and off the rumor list at least twice.

In realy dont think MCR are good enough to headline R & L so im still hoping for Greenday myself.

Would be better than MCR, but I don't know how likely it is now.

The difference being that Radiohead weren't playing a stadium tour. Bands playing stadium tours don't play Reading the same summer.

I personaly think it's a rule they would be willing to break for a band like Green Day.

The Daily Star, NME, Q and (Once upon a time) efestivals all thought they would headline, maybe Kerrang said it as well. There is no smoke without fire so lets wait and see...

the only way i would enjoy green day is if they play castaway, but thats not going to happen.
they would probably play new album crap. D:

ive always wanted them to play castaway when i've seen them. Pretty much left the set list for good once they stopped touring warning :P

Neil said they were originally penned in as headliners but something came up that caused the bigger bands to not want to play.

However, I would love him to be wrong on this occasion.

yeah they found out MCR were headlining, if I was the bands I wouldn't wana share the same stage over the weekend either :P
