il narrow your search for u. Thras Hits have said "Sonisphere have confirmed there will be another raft of bands they’ll be announcing next week, which our rumour mill suggests will include one band that we’re actually pretty f**king surprised are playing any UK festival this year, as to be honest, we never thought they’d play any show ever again…." http://www.thrashhits.com/2010/03/and-the-...-knebworth-are/
so im stuck between....Guns N Roses, Judas Priest, Soundgarden or Metallica

ah yeah actually, great shout. fits perfectly - would they be big enough to sub-headline tho? i dont really know as theyr totally not my thing and have no idea how big they are? but if theyr the big announcement next week this festival is surely in massive trouble - well at least it will be free tickets again this year!

Well they headlined the o2nd stage last year, but with all the things that happened (drummers death), they'd be an even bigger pull than last year - and they were quite a big pull last year as it is.
However I really don't think it'll be them

Funny enough I was thinking them but they was well expensive. So would really alter the rest of the annoucements due to lack of funds.
I hope not because of this and also I don`t like them but that is just me.
Its Manowar they never play over here.Dont like them either but really clutching at the I cant believe they would play a British festival vibe.

Just like Heaven and Hell last year funnily enough. They fit the never playing a gig thing too? Aint it' been like 14 years since they played in the UK?

Do they fit in with the Thrash Hits comments though, i.e. "we never thought they'd play any show ever again"
