My money's on something similar to The Maccabees, Hole and The Enemy.

I'd love to see a dance headliner like Justice (although they aren't touring) but I'm sure it'll be along the lines of whats already been said.

i was wondering if theyd maybe have some dance acts on the nme. And then they could make the lock-up 3 days like they were talking about

Would stereophonics or paul weller be possibilities for one of the nights?

I think that Maccabbees will headline one night, and probably Hole.

Paul Weller has just won the 'Godlike Genius' award at NME awards, and I think i saw him in a line up for another festival...

I know that Stereophonics are at V, does this rule them out of headlining the NME stage? I would like to see stereophonics (I know they have turned into a love them or hate them band, so not everyone will agree)...

They are both at V... and yes it rules them out i would believe.

Bit off topic, but of interest, because I've never been to a festival before, will the headliners of the NME tent clash with the main headliners, or will they finish in time for the main headliners to start?

Headliner is an hour and 30. Nme headliner get an hour, at the same time as the mainstages final hour.

one of the headlienr gets 2 hours though. If you have a clash there you can probably see a bit of both.

How about vampire weekend as headliner? theyre not at V, but they are at titp (i think) and they are at glastonbury... Theyre NME's sort of band too..

They played last year, but i tihnk theres always a chance of them making an appearance. Theyre pretty much perfect for festivals i find. Not many bands that you can chill out to, yet have the whole NME cool-ness going for them.
