Just got an email from Truck saying that Mew are headlining the Saturday. What a fantastic choice! Looks like I might be going back this year...

[Apologies if this has already been mentioned, couldn't see it anywhere]

I am really interested in going to this festival because Mew are my favourite band but I don't know which job I will be in by then.  Do tickets sell out usually?  Will I still be able to get some in May/June do you reckon?

Tickets do usually sell out but only really in last few days before the festival or even on the day. So should be no problem getting tickets especially with the price rise from last year being substantial.

Teenage Fanclub are headlining the Sunday - it's on the Truck homepage! It's now a tossup between this and Ben and Jerry's Summer Sundae!

Sorry Mojo Pins! if it's any consolation, Mercury Rev Clearlight Orchestra (as we wrote in some places) is supposed to be "The Mercury Rev Clear Light Ensemble". To err is numan ;-)

It's two weeks away now, and we've just finished writing up words for the programme! as a result, I've listened to pretty much every band on the line-up, pretty exhausted!

Been to all of them since '99, really nice setting very chilled out atmosphere, and the bars, food etc are all run by the locals.

Missing this year as couldn't really justify the price hike for what I wanted to see...will be odd not to go, but a few of us have decided to go and see The Prodigy at MK bowl which clashed so something had to give.

Awesome :) Our set was interesting...! Half way into the 3rd song our lead guitarist broke a string so changed to his backup guitar which managed to break aswell which was a shame, however the day before he was unable to make practice so we'd had to practice as a 3 so just about go away with it but its all rock and roll :P

Saw some awesome bands 4 stood out for me: Mew, Blood Red Shoes, Dial F for Frankenstein and Dead Jerichos. The last 2 really stood up again all that top national talent and were amazing. Blood red shoes were amazing as is the singer... Im still not sure how I felt about the good shoes set it was great at times and completely flat at others.

Good weekend!
