The rest of your list sounds like the sort of stuff The Temperance Society / Chip Bailey uses  :P
OK...OK...so my eyes aren't what they used to be...I say "mongoose" but it very well may have been a  weasle.  :P

"Jonsi, front-man of Icelandic post-rock giants Sigur Ros, will be joining in with the 'Year of the Fantastic' playing material from his debut solo album, 'Go' which will be released in April. His Bestival appearance will be one of only two UK festival shows this year."

didn't fleet foxes play bestival as well as headline EOTR last year?

and haven't sigur ros been at the top of EOTR's wishlist since the start?

maybe i'm being rather too hopeful........but.......

Good point....they did.

Me, I'm holding out for Slayer and a mongoose. Possibly together.

But we shall see.

[Seriously, Slayer would be pretty cool, playing to the usual EoTR crowd....:P]

"Slayer and the Mongoose"

Excellent band name, in the same vein as Sparrow and the Workshop, Erland and the Carnival etc etc  :P

Oh well, no Jonsi.....he's at Latitude. Which is not so bad for me as it happens but EOTR headlining would've been better - maybe next year!

Modest Mouse, The National, Mumford & Sons, Fever Ray, Beach House, New Pornographers, Caribou are all at Electric Picnic in Ireland the weekend before so maybe more crossover between the two?

:P Excellent news! YLT & Wilco are two of my favourite bands. Lots of other great bands too - especially New Pornographers, The Fresh & Onlys, Django Django, Black Mountain, Antlers & Wolf Parade. Can't wait!

...as per normal, I ain't heard of half of the lineup - but it's always been up to scratch in the past!

This is one of the Festivals I'm working at this year, hope my 'duties' don't mean I'll miss PHIL KAY  -again !!

I would like to see anyone but Midlake.

Personally I find them incredibly boring and reckon they are only popular because they are on Bella Union.

Most overrated band of the year I think.

Can't wait for the summer though!

I'm still kicking myself about missing the Bill Callahan tour last year (stupidly assumed his free day during Green Man would turn into a festival date). He'd be incredible on the Garden Stage.
