I'd get a day ticket for Arcade Fire - really poor set of headliners though if true!

weakest headliners in the history of leeds/reading, absolute joke. None are big enough to headline and I won't be going unless the rest of the line up improves

Hmmm, I think many people suspected we would see at least two of those headline but thruth be told a lot of people put all of them down to play beneath the headliner. Quite poor tbh.

I expected blink and arcade fire. I was hoping for something better above them TBH but u know the rest of the fest may make up for it.
Not interested in MCR either TBH.
Although Neil could be joking..... we can only hope.

I sincerely hope not. Let's hope the NME stage is amazing.

Arcade Fire was unexpected (thought they'd be second on main) but a nice surprise.
My Chemical Romance I can handle, they could be good fun.
I'd rather rip out my ear drums than go see Blink 182.
On the whole, massively disappointing.

im sure this used to be the big festival of the summer....
Blink i can understand, MCR and Arcade Fire....headlining? baffles me, and makes me wonder what the hell is going to be before them if they're the main acts of the day.

arcade fire is a great booking.
the other two, not so much.

Only excited about Arcade Fire, and half of that is because I want to be the pretentious music fan that pisses Lithium off.

arcade fire is a great booking, but as a headliner? na.
god knows what the people who thought last years headliners were bad are thinking

I think it's safe the say they've struggled this year hence why we're stuck with shit headliners. I'm hoping paramore, maccabees and pendulum headline nme tent.

Well every year there are people that moan at the headliners and then a few days later they are all defended by others. Im very much with the moaners on this occasion though, thats a poor set of headliners by most festival standards. All three should be 2nd on main stage in my opinion, and none of them excite me greatly if at all.
Its annoying on a personal level, because I cant do Download, im not doing V Festival again and was pinning my hopes on Reading. The rest of the line up is going to have to be pretty special.

in what world are arcade fire headline material, liek have i seriously missed something?
at least blink are on a comeback and MCR have whats apparently a massive album but even then this is the worst set of headliners ive seen!
