Hi, I am new to V festival.
I have the code from Virgin for the earlier tickets.
Before I go and spend a few hundred pound on a couple of tickets I would like to know if anyone whos been can tell me a bit more information?
Are you allowed to bring alcohol in in your car? and go back and forth when you feel like from your campsite to car to retrieve it? I know about no glass bottles though.
Can you pick which campsite you stay at, or do you pick when you buy your ticket, or when you get there do you get told where your going?
As i am wanting to stay at Gold as they seem to be the most posative reviews.
Lastly, Every campsitr seems to have loads of different reviews, what would you reccomend for:
a good few hours sleep at night, without tons of noise?
Preferably no spiders, as my gf would flip! lol
Friendlyness, some food vans, not a massive walk to the car or the arena and generally a good time?
Sorry for all the questions, am just not too sure about somethings :/
Cheers,
Chris

You can go back and forth to your car as many times as you want but the carparks are a good walk from the campsites so your best investing in a trolly and doing as little amount of trips as possible. You can take your beer into the campsites but not into the arena. You can camp wherev saer you want but can't really advise on which one is best as its all down to personal preference. Most of the campsites have food vans in and its generally the further away from the arena you are the quieter it is!

You can bring all you like in your car, just bear in mind you have to lug it to the campsite so as tinkerbell says a trolly is a must.

We had a good time in blue last year. busy and friendly enough, you can get some sleep after it all goes quiet, was a couple of foodies and the showers weren't too bad.

As above, only saw a couple of teeny tiny spiders. Still a bit of a hike to the cars though as most of them are.
