its only logical to book pink if the name of the festival is 'shittest acts in the world ever lip sync in a field'

Considering this thread is called 'Pop Act Booked', I can't see myself thinking anything other than the above.  I can't think of any pop act I'd be pleased to see.  Could be wrong, but I'm struggling to think of one.

(Well, I'd obviously want to SEE Beyonce, it's the sound that I can't stand).

Not Will Young. Saw him in Avalon in 08, and he was very boring. Only played 2 songs anyone knew (the rest sounded the same anyway) and ignored everyone shouting for him to play Evergreen.

Particularly Take That.

I think you could probably put a fairly convincing argument in that most of the bands that play Glasto are pop bands.  I'm using the old definition.  Pop, jazz and classical.  That's your lot.

I have it on good authority that its an x factor multi "star" medley

starting with...Leon
                    Steve Brookstein
                    the manc model one
                    afro man
                    Jedward
                    and Joe

and each will sing a Led Zep track :P

i dont want pink at all.  i'll take Beyonce or Alicia Keys.  in fact i'd love to take them both - at the same time. No worries about clashing.

absolutely.  PSB, Take That, Robbie, Kylie, Spandau, Human League- the list goes on! Seen em all, and they're all fab live.

Some people are just way to cool for pop... at least think they are!

God  I hope your right.

It  could either be an absolutely terrible act like the likes of Ke$ha or something really good like Kylie, who has had some hits and would probably good to dance to.

Either way it wouldn't effect me because I would just head off elsewhere. As I've said before I would be happy for the people that are fans of said pish singers. Would probs see Kylie tho if she played, would be a laugh.
