ticketone.it
Should be of use to your friends.

yep, ticketone.it if you need tickets.
however, i would suggest you not to buy tickets in advance - to avoid paying the (high) booking fee (+ 15%!!!)
eg if you want to buy in advance the 4-day ticket (face value: 160€) you end up paying 184€.
you can easily find tickets on the day of the event at the box office. although the lineup is strong, it's unlikely to go sold out, as the festival site is REALLY huge (700k mq)

So there is NO risk, that fest would be sold out? ANother thing, is camping included in ticket price? Or there are other tickets for campsite? From when to when is campsite open?
THANKS FOR YOUR ANSWERS

there's no way it's gonna sell out - San Giuliano Park can host over 200k people.
the problem of buying the 4-day ticket at the box office is that they MIGHT charge you with the "pre sale" fee for the following 3 days; apparently it happened in the past, and in this case there's no much saving.
however, hopefully they will clear this out soon.
about the camping: there's a camping area in the park, and it's free for:
- 4day ticket holders
- last3day ticket holders (4,5,6 Jul) ONLY if there is room left
only "normal" tents are allowed in the park (i guess no caravans, no big tents, etc)
you need to leave the camping by 10am on July 7th.
i believe it's gonna be open from Jul 2nd.
here's a pic of the internal camp site:

there are other "affiliate" campings and hotels around the park, and you can stay there if you only have to sleep for 1 or 2 nights. i think details about that will be soon made public.
thanks for the beer.. but i don't think i can make it to the festival

Looks amazing. Loving the 4th and 5th line up. Would need to make a mad dash from Oxford to get there though.
Does anyone know if the capacity is 200,000 as I haven't been able to work out anything from the official site?

there are alternative external campsites; i guess a list will be made available soon
anyway, there's no web page where you can pre-book a camp spot.
i would suggest you to contact livenation italy (www.livenation.it)
on another note: "the bastard sons of dioniso" confirmed for july 4th

Hello.
Newbie you sad that camping is reserved for 4-day ticket holders only. Couse me and my friend bought tickets for first 3 days. You think that we wont be able to camp there?
The second thing: I heard that on this festival you can have all the food and drinks in the camping park. Is that true? Couse I don't have too much cash and I'd like to bring something with me....
and the last thing: I don't know if it is better to go with a car or train. Do they have some king of busses that drive from the main train station to the park?
.... I would check this informations on their site, but I dont understand Italian

The translation of the HJF home page is brutally bad so I was wondering.
Italy, you seemed to know a hole lot about this.
If you pocess a 4-day pass are you guaranteed a place in the camping? It wont be full?
hope someone can help med
