Looks like they've been granted an expansion.

From 17,000 a day last year to 26,000 a day this year.

it seems to get bigger every year.

a lot of my friends have been going to this in the last few years and this might be on my list this year.
although this depends how much money i can scrape together for the 'festie fund'. i've organised a car boot sale and am selling scrap gold that is lying around my house (i have a lot of old junk which is apparently valuable!)
apparently its never really the line up that attracts all the punters, its the party!

hey guys,

i'm kind helping promote SGP this year online. Looks to be a goodun. I played at it a couple years ago too and had the best time. The partys are rather splendid for sure!!!

I'm concerned about the number of people. I have been going to SGP for the last 5 years. I love it but the specialness is due to the small size of the Festival. This could easily be ruined by making it too big. I was concerned last year but it felt ok.

I am a wee bit concerned about the number of people but it has always been well handled before. Still looking forward to a bit of Goldierocks and a bit of Head Gardener.

Just got tickets for this years party.

Lovely and sunny outside. Hear the letterbox, could tell they were tickets but couldn't for the life of me think what for, open them up and there's the first festival tickets of the summer :-D sure it wasn't that quick last year

I am sorely tempted by SGP this year - never been but it looks beautiful and apparently has an amazing atmosphere. Kind of pricey, but as the festival I was meant to be going to has now been cancelled, I'm really tempted to just say 'f**k it' and buy a ticket.

After the build up to Glastonbury this seems wierd,

Personally I'm pretty excited, and up for meeting some fellow efesters for a beer/ cider
