John fogerty's 2007 Jazz stage performance was one of my favorite lasting memories (and meeting ME stage left)
Whats the chances of a return - He's touring europe and the diary is empty that weekend?

He always plays in mid/north Europe, loads of gigs there. And still no Irish date.

That would be stonkingly awesome. That set was one of the highlights of my weekend (even if he was apparently a stroppy bastard backstage).
JF in the SUN please - it was rank weather last time!!

Yeah but it made it even more like woodstock!
A return for JF would be immense. As the Nal says, no Irish date yet (not holding out any hope), think it may be a trip to scandinavia, Bergen would be nice, but a tenner a pint is just plain wrong!

Doubt he'd be back so soon would he?
Very good in '07 (though slightly took the piss with Rodrigo Y Gabrielas slot), but I can't see it this year personally.

I left before the end to catch a bit of the Killers... Ah, youthful mistakes...
Therefore PLEASE book him so I can rectify my foolish mistake!

I don't think this should matter
Some artists come back year on year - look at amy winehouse (07,08) and Lilly Allen

I'm not saying it should matter either, but the older established acts play consecutive years far less frequently than the young upstarts.
Just not sure he'll be back so soon after pretty much nailing it in '07.

I think you're right and I doubt we'll see him, but maybe being the 40th year, he could be asked back?

I would love to see him there! He played near me a few years ago but I was to young to know who he was then, so would love to see him now!
