I cannot remeber the campsite i stayed in last year but loved it and would like to make sure i get the same capsite again, all i know is it was walking distance from the arena, was this the red campsite . It was classed as onsite, think , any help

Red is classed as onsite, as it is run by V Festival itself.
Yellow is run seperately so classed as offsite, but is actually closer to the arena I believe these days.
I've always stayed in Yellow so can't compare really.

Yellow campsite is the entrance that is right opposite the Arena tent. Red campsite you have to walk through the funfair, through the entrance, then through the shops and you come out by the 4Music stage.

This map may also be helpful, I believe it was done by someone on this site originally but has been reposted elsewhere.
