Big Tent is back for 2010, woo hoo, a great wee festival in Scotland and arguably the most importan environmental festival in the UK, over the years it has gone from strength to strength so if you can spare a day (or three) and enjoy a good day out in a nice atmosphere with good food, music, people and care about your planet then Big Tent is for you.
First announcemnts for this year are Sharon King and Nuala Kennedy both excellent singer songwiters, Big Tent stalwarts Mr Mcfalls Orchestra will be on site again as will newcomers the Joe Acheson quartet.
FOUND will also make their way to Falkland with their eclectic blend of, well, eclecticness, anyone who hasn't caught any of their stuff should do so.
Folk favourites Aberfeldy will also be making their debut in 2010 with Fifes favourite son King Creosote returning to a heroes welcome in his native Fife.

I've just seen that Tunng, Session A9 and Aberfeldy are announced for this. As well as King Creosote and FOUND. And of course Rosanne Cash. Amazing line up this year. And right on my doorstep. So chuffed
For those still to get tickets. If you get them now there's still a discount via the big tent site. It's 20% off online. I've just bought mine. Can't wait for July!!
