That's just opinion, 190,000 punters turn up to Novi Sad every July, gaining an ever larger number of English and Australians and already had loads of support from Italians, Germans and those from the former Eastern Bloc countries.  I'm not saying that Glastonbury isn't bigger or more well know but Exit is a massive festival.

I think the basis for giving the award was that the other nominees were Download, V, Reading, Rock Werchter, Oxegen and Rock Am Ring.

Personally I would have given it to Sonar.
