I was working at a record company, and there was a guy there who already managed someone else, and he got a call from Van saying "you're my new manager".. he said "no thanks", so Van said "You don't understand, this is a great opportunity for you, you're my manager".. so he said  .. "thanks, but no thanks"

i dont blame him, and that sounds exactly like him.

my mate finally finished with him a few years back, just too much hastle to work with, no matter how big the coinage he brings

He's never said he's hinted at various times it's about drugs and about a sexual encounter - maybe it's both.
