Was that the last time they played?!
What about the Charlatans, anyone know when they played last? I did see Tim Burgess on the Strummerville stage a couple of years back but can't remember when the full band last played

2002 I think

I really, really, really want to hear James play Sometimes at Glastonbury.  I adore that song.  It reminds me of my days in Manchester.  Good memories.

To be fair to young Timothy, he has a fantastic surname.

I just want to say that "James and the Charlatans" is a better band name than either "James" or "The Charlatans". That is all.

What  brought you to my neck of the woods from Notts?  I was there too, couldn't believe crappy old stockton could get the Charlatans AND the Futureheads AND Supergrass all in one year!  :P  Great band, I've seen them 4 or 5 times now and I'm still keen on them.  Never seen James but I would go to see them.

Went to see The Chapman Family, who we'd met in a pub in Nottingham a few months before.
