They wanted to play a couple of years ago, but is there any chance of them appearing this year?
Would be so damn cool. Cheers

I'd say there must be a decent chance they'll play, they're popular and have been mentioned the last few years.

Yeah i'd say if they were going to play it'd be this year. I would hope they would get a decent slot too.

They'd be a more-than-welcome addition, as long as Raditude is avoided at all costs. Having said that, with it being a festival set it may be a bit more 'greatest hits' orientated, which would be best case scenario.

Reckon they will play, not only are they mentioned every year, but they've been supporting Blink over in the states, and have said they're playing in Europe over the summer.
Just got to keep fingers crossed for a Tent headline slot, rather than 4th-5th down on mainstage

Weezer elitism is frustrating... Raditude is a great album.

It is catchy as hell in some places, but no way is it a patch on anything pre-2001. IMO, of course.

It's not elitism, I'm not a massive Weezer fanboy or anything, I just really don't think Raditude is a patch on the technical or lyrical genius of any of its predecessors, catchy or not.

Tent headliners, please.

realistically though i reckon one of the days could be
blink
mcr
paramore
weezer
Not too sure on paramore, may be somewhere else, but i reckon that looks realistic (if paramore play elsewhere then i'd put weezer 3rd).

They get rumoured every year, yet never play.

weezer headlining the tent would make my year!

I'd like to see Weezer, but I doubt they'd headline the Radio 1 tent - Raditude didn't even get into the top 75 in the UK! I just don't think they're popular enough in this country anymore, which is a shame as I'd love to see some Blue Album/Pinkerton stuff live.

All of these fake posters have Weezer playing. Lets hope they do!

I'd say there's every chance. They were mentioned during the festival conference about a month ago, but removed from the official notes.
