i know that last year it was not offically called this, but on the saturday of sonisphere last year a few of the sunday acts of sonisphere played marley park (dublin, ireland), and since it seems metallica are not playing it this year will rammestien be taken marley parks metal concert of the year, which seem to be a growing trend
any thoughts

Well last year it was Metallica on Sunday at Sonisphere and playing Ireland on the Saturday
This year its Rammstein on Saturday at Sonisphere and Iron Maiden on the Sunday, so if that Ireland gig is gunna be on the Staurday, it would have to be an Iron Maiden gig not Rammstein.
Rammstein could of course play Ireland Friday or Sunday though I suppose

Out of the two though ou would think it would be Maiden who play Ireland if it does happen.
Metallica have a history of playing Ireland the when they come over to do one of the British festivals though so i don't think that it has anything really to do with Sonisphere. They did it last year, they did it with Tenacious D when they headlined Reading afew years back and they also did it with Slipknot one year aswell.
So,my final thought is i doubt either Maiden or Rammstein will be over.
