how much were the student tickets? i can't really find any sympathy for non students who bought these, when you could have just got an early bird for £100.
the whole thing's a load of shite anyway, f**kin students getting a discount.
So they thought they could attract even more of them.
As for your comment Paul, I hope the folk at RockNess notice it lol.

I've got 2 (not massive hours but still)
and the RockNess thing, thats more because I wanted to be a part of RockNess.

a festival is not a neccesity, if people want to go they can find the money themselves. i don't see why students deserve a discount more than anyone else.

So what's a room in Glasgow? £300? +£50 jobseekers a week = £500 a month ish.
Students at max get about the same.

At the end of the day, most students are lazy, and like to moan.

It's a damn shame about this farce and hopefully it'll get sorted out.
As for should students get cheap tickets, perhaps but as with this year everyone should be allowed a small window which no matter if they're students or work or are unemployed should be able to get tickets for a reduced price, the deal this year was fantastic and I take my hat off to the organisers.
The difference is, as a full time worker I'll take plenty of cash and buy plenty of drink etc... where as students will try to sneak in a litre of vodka and a tuna sandwitch down there pants to save a few quid.
