I think they would be perfect Park Stag headliners on the Saturday night. Same slot Animal Collective played.
Their new album, odd blood, is a classic

That's quite weird. I was talking about this just last night. We both agreed, perfect Park headliners.

Hate to be such a dreadful pedant but at least spell the band's name right if youre going to hype them up.

Saw them before bat for lashes last year. Had never heard of them but really like them, just got new album today

Just downloaded the new album and it's well good. Would really like to see them live. Not sure if they're Park headlining material yet, not really well known enough, but still would be good to see them.

Seeing them in Glasgow on Wednesday, really looking forward to it. All Hour Cymbals was really good, but Odd Blood is fantastic.

Seeing them on Saturday in Belfast
Are they really big enough to headline the park?

They would suit the Park very well, didn't they play a couple of years back? JP perhaps? I liked the first album but have heard a bit of the new one & sounds very good, think I will be purchasing come pay day

Weird, was going to mention these guys in the "Acts from the last 3 years thread".
I loved All Hour Cymbals, and Odd Blood is like they ran that album through a Genesis-afier. It's fantastic.
They were great when they played JP in 2008.
My flatmate knows the bassist - I'll see if they can get any scoop on their summer plans when they're in london at the end of the month

Bought the album after seeing them on Jools and was suitably impressed. Bet they are good live as the lead singer certainly put on a decent show on there!
Looking forward to the new album now waiting until pay day! Would be great to see them this yr.

Just to tell you the second album is way way different

The new album isn't a classic to be fair. It has some absolute stonkers on there but is inconsistent. Still, so far it's probably my record of the year.
O.N.E. has summer jam of '10 written all over it. I'm in danger of overplaying it already!

Ooh, I'm sensing an album purchase this weekend!
Saw them supporting Gomez last year (or year before?) and they were brilliant.

Fantastic at the Oran Mor last night, absolutely hammered Odd Blood (every track from it played) but that wasn't a bad thing as such.
Dropped 2080 though.

I'd love it if there was someone as amazing as Yeasayer on the Friday night, especially on the Park stage. This would redeem the decision to have U2 playing
