Anyone else excited to see The Woodentops on the rumours lists?  

I was really into them around the time of Giant (as were most people into "indie" at the time - think it was the best selling Indie album of that year 86 or 87 thereabouts) they went off my radar a bit around the time of Woodenfoot cops on the highway, but I booked Rolo to DJ one of my nights a few years ago and a lot of his later stuff is really good.  

Ah I love scanning the lists of whose playing/rumoured to play glasto and spotting a personal gem that I'd be unlikely to see otherwise.

I am excited about this too as Giant is a great album

They're playing London and Manchester next month

Yeah I listened to Giant again recently and it still stands up today.  

Manchester eh, I could feasibly go to that!
